Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984, is a stand-up comedian and actor well-known for her witty sense of humor. April Ludgate plays her on Parks and Recreation. In the Jeannie Tate Show her character was the first to debut on a web-based show by performing sketches and improv in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. In the wake of her debut the actress went on to was as a character in Judd Apatow Funny People and Scott Pilgrim's Vs. World. Happy birthday! Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington in Delaware) is the daughter Bernadette Plaza who is an attorney by profession, and David Plaza a financial consultant. She is the daughter of Puerto Rican parents and an English-born mother from Ireland. Plaza was a student at a Catholic girls' school from 2002 to 2006, then in 2006, she enrolled at the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. In high school Plaza served as the head of the Wilmington Drama League and her school's Student Government. In 2004 while she was during her sophomore year of college Plaza suffered a stroke which caused her to suffer from expressive aphasia as well as a time of paralysis. The patient is now fully recovered. Plaza has performed improv comedy, and sketches at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since 2004. Also in the city of New York, she has appeared in stand-up shows at The Improv and The Laugh Factory. Plaza starred in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street as Robin Gibney, The Jeannie Tate Show with Ben Schwartz and also the first Terrible Decisions episode. Troopers was a sci-fi satirical show that aired on CollegeHumor with her as Princess. Plaza was the first saxophonist to debut in Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. Her first appearance was in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings in 2012. HarmonQuest featured Plaza in the year 2016 as Hawaiian Coffee the gnome. She played Aaron Burr, in Drunk History. Also, she played Cat Adams on Season 11, of C.B.S. TV series Criminal Minds. In the 12th season, she made a successful comeback in the character. After announcing her appearance, Plaza appeared in An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
