Anoushka Shankar, an Indian-born British American singer and musician, is most well-known for her songs. She was the youngest and first female to win an award from the British House of Commons Shield she has had 9 Grammy Awards nominations and was the first artist of Indian origin to play live in concert and serve as a presenter at the award ceremony. Born in London She spent her beginning of her career traveling between London and New Delhi. When she arrived in New Delhi, she made her debut at just thirteen years of age.
